Rock Am Ring branding & motion

Rock Am Ring is a heavy music festival that is all about the energy of the crowd, live music, and show. I decided to try my hand at creating the designs for a possible next edition of the festival. The challenge was to show this energy and the energy of the music while keeping the iconic circle of the Rock am Ring brand from past years.

Design Concept

This version of Rock am Ring usually uses simple aggressive typography, which is combined with the iconic circles that every other edition used. This, together with a lightning effect on the aggression of the music that they host,  fog in the background, and movement that accentuates the beats, all help towards this goal.
